What is an optical buying group?

An optical buying group is a 3rd party billing service that helps you manage your accounts payable. You, the Eyecare Professional, order your frames, lenses, and supplies through the vendor of your choice and charge it to your Padro F Corp account (much like using your Visa or MasterCard at the grocery store). Each month your participating vendors submit your purchases to us, so that we can consolidate your purchases on one easy to read statement. Collectively, our members do a large volume of business, which allows the Padro F Corp Buying Group to negotiate with manufacturers and distributors for lower pricing on products that you use in your practice every day.

How do I become a member of Padro F Corp Buying Group?

Complete the New Account Application and member agreement by clicking here. Once your application has been received you will receive a verbal confirmation from your Padro F Corp customer service representative. It then takes about 24 hours for the credit process to be completed and you will be notified as soon as your account is established. At that time, you will receive your Padro F Corp Buying Group member number.

Is there a fee to become a member of Padro F Corp Buying Group?

No. Padro F Corp does not charge a joining fee.

How do I start using my Padro F Corp Buying Group account?

Call your vendors and tell them to transfer billing to Padro F Corp or you can fill out Vendor Conversion Form.

Can I bill a vendor through Padro F Corp that is not on your
vendor list?

Yes, Padro F Corp is always interested in signing up new vendors. Just have the vendor call us toll free at 1-800-331-1922.

What is the Padro F Corp Buying Group administration fee?

Padro F Corp has a standard $15 administration fee.  If purchases are under $50, the fee is waived and if there are no purchases, there is no fee.  We also offer an innovative prompt payment discount program:  1% discount on net purchases over $1000 and an additional 1% discount on purchases over $3000. 

Why does The Padro F Corp Buying Group require a personal guarantee?

We have a guarantee because we are an unsecured lending company.

Is there a monthly minimum that I have to maintain?

No, Padro F Corp does not require a monthly minimum.
